Garrett Seminary has made theological education dramatically more accessible and affordable. New pathways for discernment. Flexible online, hybrid, and residential learning. Innovative partnerships. Generous financial aid. Through these structural changes, Garrett opens doors for students who otherwise could not pursue a seminary education. We are meeting students where they are—geographically, financially, and vocationally—yielding a wider and more diverse community of leaders, many of whom are already faithfully serving while they study.
The result? People are saying “yes” to God.

Shared Formation, Many Callings
There is no “typical” Garrett student—your donations have helped us dramatically expand who can participate in theological education.
People now enroll in our degree programs, complete certificate programs, or engage the Garrett Collective to fulfill a wide range of vocational dreams. Some study residentially. Others will never step foot on our Evanston campus. Some wish to become pastors, others chaplains, scholars, clinicians, non-profit leaders, community organizers and more. What unifies this diverse body is the shared formation they engage: Deep wisdom, as ancient spiritual practices and cutting-edge research interweave. Each of us, claiming our own piece of bringing forth God’s Kingdom.
